Brother Fritts second book has now been released and the third should be out in 2008. Brother Fritts is a teacher by profession and spent many weeks traveling through Hawaii doing research for his book and incorporated many of the friends that he met.

Taka, the first book in the series centers on a terrorist organization called Red Summit which takes place in Hawaii. The book brings together a famed Japanese cattle baron, a Texas cowboy, and a beautiful Japanese National Police investigator. Packed with action and suspense, Taka takes in the 5-star resorts, vast ranchlands, and sweeping backdrops of the Big Island of Hawaii, and weaves Hawaiian culture and history into this modern-day terror story that will keep you guessing.

In the second book in author Terry Fritts' bio-thriller series featuring the Hawaiian Islands, Kona Snow adds characters to his first book and creates a much more complex web of intrigue and action connected with the terrorist cell Red Summit. In addition to the Big Island, Kauai and Oahu, Fritts' book also visits Russia, Thailand, Japan and Southern California as an American counter-terrorism team tries to track down the creators of Kona Snow, a genetically modified coffee which renders men unable to reproduce.

Here's the teaser for the second book:
When a group of missionaries are found slaughtered in Perm, Russia and the Russian's top genetic scientist turns up missing, a single potato arrives in Hawaii starting agent Jim Rikey on a quest to find out how this potato is linked to his uncle's murder in Perm. Viktor, a top Russian FSB officer as well as Taka Matsuura, a wealthy Japanese businessman, are prepared to use all of their resources to retrieve and exploit the genetic secrets this potato holds before Jim can uncover the shocking truth. Haruko, Jotty, and Jim are reunited, and Eddie Popp, a CIA operative, joins Jotty's NCTC team on their mission to prove Taka is the leader of the deadly Red Summit terrorist group. They must stop Taka from using the secrets of the genetic modifications before millions suffer the consequences of the Kona Snow. And just what is the significance of the weaponized anthrax found on a dive boat off the Big Island?
