Alpha Upsilon Alum from 1970, Terry Fritts, was recently recognized in the Carnation for his first book in a Bio-Terror series which is set mainly in the Hawaiian islands. Brother Fritts second book has now been released and the third should be out in 2008. Brother Fritts is a teacher by profession and spent many weeks traveling through Hawaii doing research for his book and incorporated many of the friends that he met.

Taka, the first book in the series centers on a terrorist organization called Red Summit which takes place in Hawaii.
