Brothers Alumni,

Thank you for visiting the Alumni portion of our website! Please stay tuned as an improved Alumni portion to this website will be coming shortly.  There you will be able to leave messages and comments for other brothers, browse through our alumni database in a secure area and also reconnect with other alumni from your time.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact either the Chapter Alumni Director or the ACB Alumni Director.

Also, please be on the lookout for the first Spring Alumni newsletter.  Our goal is to publish at least two newleters a semester.  The newsletter will be formatted a little differently as compared with the last one.  The main difference is that we will be focusing on you, our alumni.  Some new features of the newsletter will include:

  • 5 Alumni Spot Lights (One from each of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and an alternating one with either a member from the 40's and the 90's)
  • An area where random pictures that have fallen out of the old scrap books will be posted.  It will be a collage of photos that we are having trouble identifying, thereofre, what better source to ask than the indviduals in the photos.
  • A shorten summary that will include chapter updates.
  • A letter from one of our ACB officers.
  • A letter from the current Alpha Upsilon Chapter President.
  • Chapter house updates
  • And, and events calendar that will contain the dates for area alumni reunions, etc.

Apart from the usual ongoings of our chapter, we are currently trying to raise funds for our capital campaign. The Alumni Corporation Board (ACB) has spent many thousands of dollars and man hours over the years maintaining and improving the house, but 50 years of wear and tear is catching up.  Rent revenues from active brothers are no longer sufficient to meet much tougher improvements necessary to insure another 50 years of Delta Sig memories at the chapter house at 11th & Fremont.  These improvements include: updating the current fire detection system, installing a fire supression system, completing a face-lift to public areas, and many other needed improvements to the structure and mechanical systems. ACB at this time is still looking into the condition of the house to determine specifically what repairs are needed and prioritizing those repairs. The goal of the capital campaign will be determined once this phase is completed with the primary goal being to pay off the debt held by ACB and a portion of the goal being endowed to provide scholarships for both active and pledge members.

In the Fall of 2006, we kicked of our Delta Sig Capital Campaign.  To view photos from this events, please click here.

We are currently looking for Alumni to assist with the Capital Campaign and to serve on positions on our ACB.
