2 of the 19 Orientation Leaders for 2007 are Delta Sigs. They include: Chris Harris, senior in marketing, orientation leader, Overland Park, and Joe Vossen, senior in political science, Tecumseh. Nineteen K-State students will serve as orientation leaders. In large- and small-group sessions, the orientation leaders will inform new students about resources, services, activities and facilities available at K-State. They will participate in training sessions during the spring semester and early summer, fine-tuning their knowledge of services and resources on campus, as well as developing interactive presentations for new students and learning leadership skills, said Emily Lehning, assistant dean of student life at K-State. Two students will serve as hosts for parents attending orientation and enrollment sessions, and one student will serve as a program assistant. Source: Emily Lehning, 785-532-6237,
